Meet the talent behind 'Hum Ho Rahe Kamyaab' anthem

Esther Hnamte, born in Lunglei, Mizoram, started singing at the age of three and has been making music ever since. 17 of her Music Videos have reached over a million views. Her music video for "Jana Gana Mana" in collaboration with 3 Assam Rifles Lunglei reached a million views in less than 24 hours. She has received over 25 awards and citations at present. She has her own YouTube channel with around 787,000 subscribers.

Chotu Khan belongs to the Merasi community and singing songs, and playing instruments is their profession. His uncle, Dilawar Khan taught him a lot about music and folk singing and he gradually began to show more interest in learning music after which he started singing really well. Soon after, he got his first break in a music video called Hariyo Patang through which he gained considerable fame and popularity. He then started performing in various programs and showcased his singing skills at a larger level.

Ayaan Deshpande is a 9-year-old piano prodigy from Mumbai. His talent was discovered quite serendipitously when he began to learn to play the keyboard on his own during the lockdown three years ago. Now a student of the Symphony Orchestra of India Music Academy, he has already enthralled audiences in concerts and recitals in Vienna, Almaty apart from Mumbai and Pune.

Sartaz Khan Barna is a folk singer from a small village Barna, in Jaisalmer. As a child artist, Sartaz lent his voice to the song “Bapu Sehat Ke Liye Tu Toh Hanikarak Hai” from the Hindi feature Film Dangal.At the age of 5, Sartaz learned the art of singing from his father, Ustad Gazi Khan Barna and their institute (Pahchan Folk Music Institue Barna ). Sartaz has traveled to more than 15 countries worldwide for his performances.

Rahul Vellal started his journey with Indian Classical music at the age of four. His musical prowess has taken him across seven different countries, where he has graced audiences with classical performances, and on the stages of the most prominent sabhas throughout India. Notably, Rahul has honed his skills in Mrudanga and also learned Western Piano, and his creativity has led him to craft his own compositions at a remarkably young age. Rahul's musical talents have been recognized with a multitude of titles, awards, and accolades, including "Shanmukha Sangeetha Shiromani", "Raga Laya Prabha," "Global Child Prodigy," "Rising Star," and many others. 

Anirban Roy started learning flute at the age of four and a half and gave his first public performance at the age of five. He has been awarded with many prestigious awards like Master Madan award, Bharat Ratna MS Subhulakshmi fellowship, Indo Asian Brand Iconic Award, etc. He has performed in many prestigious music conferences with legendary artists as well.

Steven Samuel Devassy is a child prodigy adept in playing drums, and singing. He has been recognized as the ‘Fastest Child Drummer ‘and has been invited by leading music academies from the USA. Steven, from a very young age was exposed to a high grade of music,  which runs in his family. Steven has been awarded by various bodies for his drum performances and has also attracted international attention through his songs on the You Tube, some of which have crossed the 74 million mark.

Imnainla Jamir is a musician, and guitar artist from Nagaland. She is currently pursuing her Music studies and is an ambassador for Shure. She is also an achiever of H.E.R (Hope. Empowerment. Rise) award. She has worked on numerous high-profile music projects including Parx- I Care About You music video which has more than 2 million views on YouTube and the Now or Never music video which was by Task Force for Music and Arts, Government of Nagaland and supported by Dolby Atmos.

Aditya started learning classical vocal and violin from the age of 3. He started learning Violin at the age of 6 with SaPa(Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts) under Dr. Ambi Subramaniam and Dr. L Subramaniam.  Young Artist recognized him as top 10 in Karnataka and top 20 nationally in the category of Indian Classical Carnatic violin.  He started performing at the age of 9 and performed violin solo as well as accompanist across several cities in India.    He has won many competitions.

Dharavi Rocks is an initiative of ACORN Foundation. A bunch of talented, cool kids making music – Dharavi Rocks is a collective of slum kids jamming to a better life. The drums that are used to store water, cans, sticks, glass bottles, metal caps, and what not – the children transform this junk into musical instruments.
