About the anthem
The anthem celebrates the spirit of an unstoppable India, a nation that is being taken to its rightful place in the world by its youth. The anthem sees the coming together of a group of brilliant young artists, symbolizing an India whose median age is under 28, a nation which has a staggering 512 million below 21 years of age, a figure that exceeds the population of any country except China. The anthem was composed by noted Bollywood composer Shantanu Moitra, directed by Parasher Baruah and its lyrics were penned by Tanveer Ghazi.
The anthem has been unveiled at the climax of TOI’s Unstoppable21 initiative. Launched on August 15th this year, the initiative sought to identify 21 young Indian prodigies, under 21 years of age, who have made a global impact. A jury of distinguished names selected the best across multiple streams, ranging from fine arts to sports to science. To know more about the 21 young prodigies selected click here
