Unplastic India brought alive by noted sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik on Puri Beach
Sudarsan Pattnaik: As a sand artist, I consider the seabeach as my workplace. Furthermore, the beaches of Odisha serve as a significant habitat for a vast population of Olive Ridley sea turtles. In order to create my sand art, I have utilized 2320 plastic bottles that were collected from these very beaches.
The intention behind my sand art is to raise awareness among people about the imperative need to refrain from using single use plastic. It brings me great satisfaction to be associated with the #UnplasticIndia movement by The Times of India, which shares the same objective.
